Performing Arts for Social Change

Modeled after Augusto Boal's “Theater of the Oppressed,” Performing Arts for Social Change (PASC) is theater, music and dance that offers a forum to those groups who are often not heard.

Education in Transformative Action

Education in Transformative Action is a course taught by Anke Wessels, the Executive Director of CTA, for the larger community. The goal of this course is to provide community members with the skills and strategies needed to practice Transformative Action, an empowering approach to social change.

Education in Compassionate Communication

Compassionate Communication is an approach to talking and listening that enables people to communicate what they are feeling and needing more effectively. It promotes compassionate connection and resolution of differences in a peaceful manner with everyone's needs included and valued.

Student Social Entrepreneurship

Fostering a new generation of change makers equipped to helps resolve today's social problems through deep reflection, critical understanding, and practical experience.
